Activities

Activities

ECYC sponsors a variety of fun social events and activities throughout the year. Please check our EVENTS page for updates!

The club also conducts a wide selection of boating activities for both novices and experienced boaters and sailors. Corinthians are actively involved in springs and fall Frostbite Racing, the Ideal 18 Summer Series, the Essex 12 Meter Challenge, the Essex Rum Challenge, the Tri Club River Series, including our own Thomas Clark Memorial Race, and the new ECYC Cross-Sound Challenge, which celebrated its premiere in 2013, as well as a number of ECSA sanctioned PHRF races throughout the season. Check the RACING page for details!

Corinthians regularly cruise socially all over Southern New England and Long Island Sound. We own four Ideal 18 Sailboats for our members to use in racing, social sailing and sailing instruction. We maintain two moorings in Essex Harbour, as well as one in Hamburg Cove. (Rules and regulations for mooring use.)

Please see the VISITORS page for details.
