We are pleased to announce that Gourmet Galley, an experienced catering operation since 1998, will run the ECYC Galley during February, March and April.
Chef John Woods and his team serve meals on Friday night, lunch Wednesday through Saturday, and brunch on Sunday.
Please join your fellow club members to welcome Chef Woods in the typical Corinthian fashion and sample his delicious food. You will not be disappointed - Gourmet Galley has been creating tasty fare at events and locations all over Eastern Connecticut and is well-known to many of our members.
In the weeks to come, Gourmet Galley will serve lunch, brunch and dinner at our regular schedule. Please support the caterer and the club's efforts to provide all our members with a great dining experience!
In addition, Gourmet Galley will be available to provide on- and off-site catering to our members.

The Essex Corinthian Yacht Club is currently looking for a new galley operator for a long-term contract.
Galley is scheduled to re-open on February 1st with a temporary caterer. Please see the Request For Proposal Document for more details on the permanent contract.
Our motto is:
Stewardship of an “environment of fellowship for yachtsmen and women at a modest price” which includes a sustainable galley operation offering quality food and service at a reasonable price. The arrangement between our yacht club and the galley operator is beneficial for both entities. The galley operator will have a beautiful river-front dining location at their disposal for on-site catering and may use the kitchen for off-site catering prep. We are looking for a creative chef and support staff who can provide us with a variety of tried and true favorites, periodic specials, as well as catering for our club events.

Members are welcome to bring guests to
our dining hours (member shall accompany guests). Guests may pay with VISA or Mastercard.
If you are a member of a yacht club listed in the Register of American Yacht Clubs, you are also welcome to enjoy reciprocal privileges in our dining room! You may join us at dinner once (1) and at lunch/brunch three times (3) per quarter. No reservations, first-come, first-serve. Groups larger than four, please contact the office.
The Essex Corinthian Yacht Club is a SMOKE-FREE FACILITY!
Smoking is not permitted in the clubhouse, on the upper and lower decks, or on the docks and surrounding areas.
NOTE: Pets are not permitted in the clubhouse and dining areas.
Please note: the dining area is located on the second floor of the clubhouse. The building features a stair lift, but does not have wheelchair accessible ramps.

You can rent the beautiful clubhouse for your next private event!
The River Room and the Corinthian Cafe with its decks can be rented out for events on days when there is no regular galley service or scheduled club event (Mondays excluded).
Please contact ECYC for the terms & conditions of rental, rental and insurance fees, and other considerations. Our in-house caterer is the primary caterer for events held at ECYC.
Please note that ECYC does not permit the use of balloons as decorations at any time in or around the building, the dock area or in the parking lot.
