Interested in Participating in Women on the River 2026?
Following a great Spring season, we invite you to join us for the final Women on the River (WOR) sail for the Fall 2026 season. WOR brings together enthusiastic women sailors of all levels from five local clubs along the CT River: Pettipaug Yacht Club, Essex Corinthian Yacht Club, Essex Yacht Club, Hamburg Cove Yacht Club, and North Cove Yacht Club.
Sailing aboard Ideal 18's at ECYC and Storm 18's at EYC, participants can enjoy this final date of sailing in September, followed by a social dinner. No formal instruction is provided, but a briefing will be held before sailing. We meet rain or shine! No rain dates. Sailing starts at 5 pm. FINAL 2026 WOR Fall date:
September 16 – Sail & Dinner at EYC. Cash Bar.
Cost: EYC Dinner is $30 each (includes tax & tip) and is optional. Sailing is also optional if you prefer just the social.
