Interested in Participating in Women on the River 2026?
Women on the River (WOR) is back for its fall season! WOR brings together enthusiastic women sailors of all levels from five local clubs along the CT River: Pettipaug Yacht Club, Essex Corinthian Yacht Club, Essex Yacht Club, Hamburg Cove Yacht Club, and North Cove Yacht Club.
Sailing aboard Ideal 18's at ECYC and Storm 18's at EYC, participants enjoy September evenings of sailing, followed by social dinners. No formal instruction is provided, but briefings will be held each evening. We meet rain or shine! No rain dates.
Earlier start time: With daylight waning, sailing begins at 4:30 PM. A later Storm 18 will head out around 5:00 PM for those arriving after work.
September 16 - Sail & Dinner at Essex Yacht Club. Cash Bar. Payment due by September 9.
