Interested in Participating in Women on the River 2026?
Women on the River (WOR) continues this Fall for two more sessions following a great Spring season. WOR brings together enthusiastic women sailors of all levels from five local clubs along the CT River: Pettipaug Yacht Club, Essex Corinthian Yacht Club, Essex Yacht Club, Hamburg Cove Yacht Club, and North Cove Yacht Club.
Sailing aboard Ideal 18's at ECYC and Storm 18's at EYC, participants can enjoy two dates of sailing in September, followed by social dinners. No formal instruction is provided, but briefings will be held each evening. We meet rain or shine! No rain dates. Sailing starts at 5 pm. 2026 WOR Fall dates:
September 9 – Sail & Dinner at EYC. Cash Bar.
