Interested in Participating in Women on the River 2026?
Women on the River (WOR) is back for another exciting season! WOR brings together enthusiastic women sailors of all levels from five local clubs along the CT River: Pettipaug Yacht Club, Essex Corinthian Yacht Club, Essex Yacht Club, Hamburg Cove Yacht Club, and North Cove Yacht Club.
Sailing aboard Ideal 18's at ECYC and Storm 18's at EYC (when they take delivery), participants enjoy four Wednesday evenings in May and two in September of sailing, followed by social dinners. No formal instruction is provided, but briefings will be held each evening. We meet rain or shine! No rain dates. All events start at 5 pm.
On May 6 – Sail & Potluck at ECYC. Bring a dish to share. BYOB. ECYC has ice and tap water.
