About the event
"Women on the River" is a series of Wednesday night events for women from area yacht clubs (Essex Corinthian Yacht Club, Essex Yacht Club, Pettipaug Yacht Club, North Cove Yacht Club, and Hamburg Cove Yacht Club). We meet, mingle, sail, and dine. Join us at Essex Corinthian Yacht Club on Wednesday, May 17, for our kickoff evening, and bring a dish for a Potluck Dinner.
There will be no sailing at the kickoff evening but we will sail before we dine every other night of the series. (May 31, June 7, 14, and 21.) No sailing experience is needed. There will be a club-certified skipper in each boat. This event is free, but please bring a dish. ECYC Members who are interested in participating should contact Diane Stark at dianstrk@aol.com.
