Vessel Safety Check

ECYC will host a US Coast Guard Auxiliary Vessel Safety Check Day on Saturday, June 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Trained volunteers will help keep you safe this boating season. Safety Checks will take place at Essex Yacht Club "T" Dock and at Dauntless Marina. You must register!

Safety checks take 15 to 30 minutes and include a complete inspection of your vessel, valuable updated safety information, and a USCG Vessel Examination Decal to display. The vessel safety check program consists of a voluntary examination of your vessel by a trained, certified VSC Auxiliarist. This examination promotes boating safety by educating boaters about what equipment must be carried on board their vessel and other matters affecting vessel safety.
