WE THANK OUR SPONSORS TO DATE:
Over the years, several ECYC boats have successfully competed in the Leukemia Cup. The Leukemia Cup Regatta is an annual sailing event held by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, an organization with state chapters throughout the United States.
This year, we are teaming up with Pettipaug Yacht Club to run a one-design regatta on the Connecticut River scheduled for August 11th. The regatta is open to any One Design fleet that has 5 or more registered boats: Ideal 18, Etchells, MC Scow, Laser, JY‐15, Club 420, Sunfish, Force 5, all have local fleets that we are encouraging to participate. Boats that do not form a one-design class will race as a handicap class and the North American Portsmouth Tables will be used to calculate each boat’s corrected time.
Not only is the 2018 Connecticut River Leukemia Cup an exciting river race, it also serves to draw attention to the work of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in working towards a cure for cancer.
DONATE TO A PARTICIPANT
(fundraising site open until October):
If you are a sailor interested in competing in the Connecticut River One-Design Leukemia Cup 2018 we will be happy to help you enroll your boat and crew in the 2018 Regatta - or if you do not have a boat, find a crew for you to join. We also encourage everyone to join a fundraising team to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - go to http://pages.leukemiacup.org/ctwhv/ct18 to find out more!
Thank you to all participants, donors, sponsors and volunteers!
